Tonya

Hi, I’m Tonya Davis, a wife, mother, educator, and devoted follower of Jesus. My husband, Jeremie serves as the worship leader at our local church and together, we share a love for music, theater, and serving Christ. We have two wonderful sons, C.J., who is in college, and Gabriel, who is in high school. After graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in education, I spent 17 years teaching before God opened the door for me to step into radio ministry in 2018. I never imagined I would have the opportunity to work in Christian radio, but God’s plans are always greater than our own. As a listener of KJIL/KHYM, I’ve always appreciated the encouraging music and Christ-centered ministry, and it is truly an honor to now be part of a team that is passionate about sharing God’s love and serving the community.
