I never could’ve imagined this is where God would lead… but getting to serve Him through mid-days on KJIL each day… it’s something I don’t take for granted. Before joining KJIL in 2008, I worked at a few stations across Kansas and Indiana, never quite knowing how He was weaving it all together. But He was.

Over the years, my Pastor husband, Brian, and I moved 16 times across the Heartland, and now we found our “place” just down the road from where he grew up. We have three kids and seven grandkids—such a gift to have them all close enough to hug on a regular basis. We love being part of our church family and saying “yes” to short-term mission trips whenever we can.

One verse I hold close is Psalm 16:8: “I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” It reminds me to walk into every room with a heart set on Him… and to let my words and actions reflect that I know He’s already there. I’m trying… with God’s help!
