The Brown Grand Players invite audiences to kick off the holiday season with laughter and cheer at their upcoming production of A Christmas Chaos, written by Michael Wehrli, and directed by Whitney Jones. Performances will be held at the historic Brown Grand Theatre, located downtown Concordia at 310 West 6th Street, on November 14 and 15 at 7:00 p.m. and November 16 at 2:00 p.m.
When The Royal Shakespeare Company fails to arrive for their performance of A Christmas Carol, a small but determined local theater troupe decides to perform their own version—with no preparation, mismatched props, and plenty of onstage and backstage blunders! The result is a fast-paced, family-friendly comedy filled with holiday spirit and non-stop laughter.
“It has been our yearly tradition to put on a holiday show, and this one is the perfect blend of comedy and Christmas spirit,” said Jones. “Anyone who’s ever been in a play—or anyone who has ever attended a live performance for that matter —will recognize the chaos and charm that make live theater so special.”
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (18 and under), and can be purchased at the door up to 30 minutes before the show.
