Join us for the final salute to old, tattered, and faded flags that will retire on June 14th at 6pm CKFF Fair Grounds (619 N Rogers Ave, Abilene)
This Flag Retirement Ceremony is organized by two local veteran's organizations, the American Legion Post 1969 and VFW Post 3279. Join us as we retire old, tattered, or faded flags during a ceremony at the CKFF Fair Ground located at 619 N Rogers Avenue in Abilene at 6pm on June 14th. Community members are welcome to drop off their tattered flags at the VFW/American Legion located at 317 N Spruce in Abilene, just look for the mail slot between the doors. You can also bring your old flags to the event! All fabric types can be retired.
