On Sunday night, February 16th at 6:00 p.m. Emmanuel Church in Abilene is hosting Frankie Valens in concert. Frankie Valens was a major league pop star in the 60s and 70s with such songs as "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes", "This Magic Moment" and lots more. Frankie and his wife Phyllis who just happens to be a concert pianist will be at Emmnauel Church Sunday night, February 16th at 6:00 p.m. for the Valens for Valentines Weekend.
Tickets can be purchased at the church office from 8-5 Monday thru Friday for $15 for adults, kids 10 and under are free. Tickets at the door will be $20. That's Emmanuel Church in Abilene Sunday night, February 16th at 6:00 p.m. for the Valens Valentines Weekend Concert. All proceeds go to Global Train Foundation for creating economic development zones in Kenya.
