General Theme: “Trust His Process”
Luke 22:42 – “Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

Theological and Pastoral Focus
The purpose of the convention is to guide young people (ages 12–35) to understand, accept, and embrace God’s formative process in their lives.

Inspired by Jesus’ experience in Gethsemane, the event emphasizes that God’s process—though sometimes painful, confusing, or prolonged—is the sure path toward fulfilling His eternal purpose.

The theme is developed through three pedagogical and spiritual movements:
- Trust – Believing in God’s character even when we do not understand the process (Luke 22:42; Proverbs 3:5–6)
- Formation – God uses the process to shape character, faith, and obedience (James 1:2–4; Romans 8:28–29)
- Purpose – The process culminates in mission and sending (1 Peter 5:10; Philippians 1:6)
“God is not only interested in the destination, but in who you become in the process.”

Day Focus: Trusting when the process hurts

|6:20 PM – 7:00 PM | Worship – Session 1 Focus: Surrender and trust in the midst of struggle

|7:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Opening Sermon
Message #1: “Gethsemane: When trusting is not easy” Text: Luke 22:39–46
Emphasis:
-Jesus trusted the Father even in deep anguish
-The process is not a sign of abandonment
-Obedience precedes victory

|8:00 PM – 8:45 PM | Night Workshops (choose one)
