POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Financial Discipleship will champion biblical stewardship, serve churches and pastors, encourage generosity, and promote MB Foundation and the services we provide to pastors, churches and ministries throughout the MB family. This position will office out of Hillsboro, KS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and develop materials and communication platforms to champion financial discipleship & generosity across our MB family.
• Tell the MBF story and champion stewardship by seeking to preach/teach or share in an MB church & other denominational settings.
• Seek to expand our impact and influence across generations in this vital discipleship arena.
• Oversee the Leadership Generation Fund, including review of applications, award approval, the award process, and build connections with grant recipients and ministries with which they serve.
• Oversee the THRIVE initiative to encourage church health.
• Strategically build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships among pastors and churches, expanding the influence and partnerships of MB Foundation throughout the MB denomination.
• Grow, nurture, and expand a Giving Meaning to Money culture throughout our family of churches.
• Work in concert with the MBF team to increase participation in all programs and services.
• Challenge and resource our MBF team to grow in financial discipleship and help ensure that MBF programs and services stay true to biblical stewardship ideals and principles.
• This position reports directly to the CEO.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Graduate level degree preferred.
• A heart for the church and demonstrated leadership in the local church or other MB ministry.
• Experience with creating, preparing and delivering materials, and presentations.
• Lead by example through sowing faithfully and regularly, continuing to grow personally as a generous steward.
• A self-starter with sound judgement and good decision-making skills, who is a problem solver yet action-oriented and results-focused.
• Must have excellent problem-solving & organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects collaboratively.
• Should have strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize conflicting needs while handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and following through on projects to a successful completion.
• Willingness to work extra hours when needed to complete assignments, which at times could require work before or after office hours or on the weekends.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and always maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel helpful.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Loan Officer will contribute to our Loan Program by providing underwriting, relationship and servicing support to churches, non-profits, and ministerial staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely cultivation and processing of loan requests, while also providing loan servicing support to ensure a healthy loan portfolio. The Loan Officer will report to the Chief Development Officer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Receive, analyze and process loan applications for churches, organizations and individuals. This includes collecting materials from potential borrowers, performing due diligence, and preparing loan exhibits for board action.
• Process loan closings in a timely and efficient manner, including communicating with borrower and title company, reviewing title reports, and coordinating the advancement of funds.
• Proactively engage potential borrowers and guide them through loan application process. This will include written, electronic and verbal communication with potential customers.
• Manage lending relationships.
• Nationwide travel, as required.
• Manage construction payment application reviews and funding.
• Record field reports and construction site visit reports.
• Deliver excellent service externally and internally.
• Work closely with the Chief Development Officer to ensure a healthy loan portfolio that consists of strong relationships, complete records and efficient processing.
• Work with other team members to further the ministry of MB Foundation.
• All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in business.
• Preference given to candidate with banking experience, but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with a collaborative mindset.
• Open to being a “Loan Officer for Jesus” mindset.

Bennington Bible Church (BBC) is a vibrant, Bible-centered, non-denominational congregation located in Bennington, Kansas, just 15 minutes from the thriving regional hub of Salina (population ~47,000). Serving a regional congregation across Saline, Ottawa, Lincoln and Dickinson counties, BBC is committed to partnering with individuals, and families to equip people and communities to live Christ-centered lives. With a rich history since 1981 and a current season of growth, BBC seeks a Lead Pastor to serve as the spiritual leader, primary preacher, and shepherd of the congregation. Key Responsibilities:
Preaching and Teaching
Deliver biblically grounded, sermons that inspire, challenge, and equip the congregation for spiritual growth and practical application. Preaching at Sunday services which are held at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Special event opportunities when needed. And ensuring alignment with BBC’s commitment to Scripture as the foundation for faith and practice. Equipping the congregation to grow in their personal walk with Christ and engage in disciple-making.
Spiritual Leadership and Vision
Provide visionary leadership in collaboration with the Elder Board to advance BBC’s mission of partnering with individuals, families and equipping young people for Christ-centered life. Foster unity in a diverse congregation by promoting a culture of prayer, fellowship, and dependence on God. Oversee the spiritual direction of the church, ensuring ministries align with BBC’s values of God-exalting worship, biblical truth, and outreach.
Pastoral Care and Discipleship
Shepherd the congregation through pastoral care, including counseling, visitation, and support during life’s challenges, building relational connections across all generations. Mentor and disciple church members, with a particular emphasis on equipping individuals, families and young people to live out their faith in their homes and communities. Support and develop staff to serve effectively in ministries, including youth, women’s, men’s and community outreach programs.
Administration and Team Leadership
Work collaboratively with the Elder Board, staff (including Associate Pastor, Operations Coordinator, Ministry Staff and others), and to oversee church operations, ministry coordination, and Sunday service pulpit preaching and coordination. Provide leadership to existing staff, fostering a team-based approach to ministry while encouraging their growth in Christ-like character. Oversee the development and implementation of ministries, ensuring alignment with BBC’s vision and values.
Community Engagement and Outreach
Support initiatives with internal team support, like the youth ministry, women’s ministry, men’s ministry including partnerships like KampOut with Kanakuk Christian Camps.
Qualifications
Spiritual Maturity: A clear calling to full-time pastoral ministry, with a demonstrated life of Christ-like character, humility, and
dependence on God, meeting the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry, theology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required; preferably as a senior or lead pastor, with a proven track record of effective preaching, leadership, and shepherding.
Theological Alignment

Skills and Abilities
Strong preaching and teaching skills, with the ability to communicate biblical truth clearly and compellingly to the church congregation. Experience in mentoring is highly desirable, given BBC’s emphasis on equipping the congregation to effectively lead their homes, friends and family toward a Christ centered life. Ability to work collaboratively with elders, lead a team including staff, elders, and volunteers.
Compensation and Benefits
